The Soldier Thread is a very cool, very talented up-and-coming band here in Austin. They regularly enjoy radio play here and recently toured the nation with Blue October.
A couple of years ago I became Facebook friends with their lead singer Patricia when she became a fan of our web series The Andrew and Matt Show. Soon after diving into the band’s music, I immediately wanted to work with them in some capacity. Fast forward to Summer 2011, and they were in need of a shooter/editor for some “acoustic” videos- basically impromptu, stripped down performance vids. The first, “Matador” is embedded below and I’ve already shot 3 more that they will most likely roll out over a period of time.
